The King is back. LeBron James will be on the court tonight for the first time in five games as the Los Angeles Lakers take on the San Antonio Spurs, per the team.

James suffered a left adductor strain in a loss to the L.A. Clippers on Nov. 9. In his absence, Anthony Davis stepped up and the Lakers went 3-2.

The Lakers are 5-11 on the season, which leaves them 14th in the Western Conference. They’ve got a chance to start making up some ground, though — the Spurs, one place ahead of them in 13th, are losers of 6 straight.

The teams play again tomorrow night, also in San Antonio.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham said Tuesday that the team would be as “cautious as possible” with the star’s injury, so it remains to be seen whether James will play in the second half of the back-to-back.

James is averaging 24.9 points on 45.7% shooting, 8.8 rebounds, and 6.9 assists across 10 games this year.
