She was the new black kid at a Texas school for her senior year. Instead of being welcomed, she was bullied for days with racist taunts until she couldn’t take anymore. Her mother and several civil rights activist are here tonight to talk about what Autumn Roberson-Manahan had to endure, how she’s coping, and what’s being done to curb such behavior in schools.

What happened to Autumn Roberson-Manahan was not the first incident in Lubbock, Texas. A non-profit organization has filed a racial discrimination complaint. I’ll talk to the civil rights lawyer with the Intercultural Development Research Association about what they want the Slaton Independent School District to do.

The Supreme Court will allow U.S. border officials to continue expelling migrants under a policy known as Title 42 indefinitely.

We’ll look at how the growth of gang violence in Haiti contributes to the country’s political dysfunction and deteriorating economic conditions.
